Our Story
JusTrendy began with a simple idea: every fabric has a story. We used to call this project Fabric Story – and that is still what we make.
Why hand-painted?
A printed shirt is made by a machine in seconds. A hand-painted one is made by a person over hours – sometimes days. You can see the brushstrokes, the places where the artisan paused, the colours they mixed that morning. That is what makes it yours alone.
The back of the blouse is a canvas
In Bengal, the back of a blouse is the first thing people notice in a pandal or at a wedding. We give that space to our artisans – to paint Maa Durga, a Madhubani fish, a Kolkata tram, or a memory you share with us.
Fair to the hands that paint
On every product we show the base garment at cost and the artisan’s hand-painting price separately. We are proud of that price. It pays for skill, patience and time – and it keeps this craft alive.
For people who respect the art
We don’t make fast fashion and we don’t chase discounts. We make pieces for people who value the art as much as we do – and who want to wear a story, not just a label.
Your story, our brush
Send us a photo, a line of poetry, your grandmother’s handwriting or the balcony where you first met. We’ll sketch it, you approve it, and our artisans paint it onto a saree, a blouse, a shirt or a pair of sneakers.
